SENIORS:
- The Senior Grad list is posted in the front office windows. Organized by student ID number, please check to see if you are cleared – this will allow students to pick up graduation tickets when distribution starts on Monday, May 16 at the Finance Office window.
- Senior Breakfast Tickets will be available after school on Tuesday, May 17 at the Finance Office window for $15 each. Each student is allowed 1 adult and 1 student ticket; if more are needed, a reservation list will be created. The remainder of the week, May 18 – May 20, tickets will be available before school, at lunch and after school at the Finance Office window.
- Yard signs are available NOW outside the front office.
- Do you have a previously used Sheldon cap and / or gown you can donate to the school? Please drop off at the front desk.
- Navigate to the Sheldon website to stay current with the Senior checklist of upcoming dates and graduation requirements. There is also a “Senior” tab on the website with more information regarding the required Extended Application and Naviance Checklist.
- Seniors are required to attend the Senior Advisory on Friday, May 20.
SUMMER BRIDGE
- Sheldon High School is hosting Summer Bridge Aug 1 – Aug 5 with two sessions to choose from, morning or afternoon. Learn your way around campus so you can start the year off feeling confident! Current Sheldon students will be here to answer questions and give good advice while you discover helpful school resources. Connect with old friends and make new ones.
- Summer Bridge registration is OPEN now and closes June 13. Please contact Jackie Owens with any questions at 541-731-3336.

SENIOR GRAD NIGHT CELEBRATION:
- The Senior Celebration will take place at Camp Harlow following graduation on June 15. Check in will start at the Sheldon parking lot at 9:30. Information regarding permission slips and tickets is attached; pay close attention to the Facebook and IG pages for distribution details.
- Help support the fundraising efforts by using the attached flyer on Monday, May 16 at Track Town Pizza.

STUDENTS OUT AND ABOUT IN EUGENE:
- Eugene transportation: All K-12 students in Lane County can get their free LTD Student Transit Pass from their school. This pass allows students to ride LTD buses free. Students will receive a new pass when attending school each fall. LTD Bus Pass
- Eugene Library Card: All students enrolled in Eugene School District 4j can get a free library card, whether you live inside or outside of City Limits. Eugene Library
- Planet Fitness: School’s almost out, the gym is “in!” Teens 14-19 can work out free all summer. Sign up starts May 16. Planet Fitness Info
SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL COURSES OFFERED:
- The short summer courses are designed and led by 4J teachers to engage students in innovative learning that includes meaningful experiences outside of a traditional classroom setting. High school credit is offered upon successful completion.
- Currently, around 3 dozen summer intensive courses are scheduled, covering a wide range of topics including beekeeping, cooking, dance, engineering, drones, crafts, Japanese mythology and karate. New courses will be added throughout the spring.
- Check course descriptions for dates, times and details. Classes range from a few days to up to five weeks. The first currently scheduled course begins June 29.
SPRINGFEST
Sheldon’s SpringFest will be held TuesdayFriday, May 24th – 27th. SpringFest is a celebration of our Sheldon High School community featuring hour-long lunches and activities in the courtyard including music performances, an open mic, arts and crafts, guest DJs, and other fun things hosted by our affinity groups, clubs, and Leadership students.
