You can reach our main office at 541-790-6600. You can find the new Distribution page on the Sheldon website, right next to the Event Calendar!

STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Food Drive – This is a friendly reminder that our ASB students and staff are holding another food drive NEXT WEEK, January 11-15, 2021, and we need your help. Swing by Sheldon between 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm to drop off food donations to Sheldon staff and ASB. Our prior food drive provided hundreds of food boxes to families in our community and we are hoping to do the same, once again. Please help ASB restock our food pantry! We will also be accepting gift cards and monetary donations and have the ASB students do the shopping!
NHS – Sweatshirts for all active members will be available at the front of Sheldon on Monday, January 11 and Tuesday, January 12 between 1:00 – 4:00. If you are a new member to NHS this school year, the new member book will be available for signing, as well.
CLASS DROPS
Students have until Tuesday, January 19th to complete the drop process and have no mark on their transcript for a dropped Trimester 2 class. Students who submit completed drop forms on Wednesday, January 20th or later will have a mark on their transcript with a WD (Withdraw).
Parent/Guardian permission to drop is required. Students should reach out to parent and teacher before submitting a form. School counselors will then follow up. Please call the office to make arrangements to return textbooks and/or class materials at 541-790-6600.
Petition for Class Drop forms are available on the SHS website under the Career & Counseling Center & the Student tab.

WINTER WEATHER- http://www.4j.lane.edu/weather/
Winter weather is on its way! Here is some key information families need to know.
When hazardous weather is a concern, decisions regarding schedule changes are made in the early morning, before school, when current weather conditions can be assessed. Decisions are made district wide and are the same for every 4J school.
Our main concern is the safety of our students and staff. We also believe students and families are best served when schools are open. We will always do our best to make the best decision possible, taking into account all of the factors.

2020-21 School Year Photos – The Yearbook staff wants to include every student in the yearbook, but without traditional student images, we need your help! Please see the flyer attached for step-by-step instructions to get your student’s school picture included in the yearbook this year! Deadline: 02.01.21
SENIORS
Miner’s Grad Products – If you ordered a sweatshirt, tassel, lanyard, keychain, etc., you should call Miner’s Grad and make an appointment to pick your products up today! We are not able to distribute from the school, at this time. Miners Grad
Senior Photos – An email was sent home mid-December with information regarding Senior photos. If your student was on the list that was sent home, Yearbook has NOT received a senior photo for your student. The deadline has been extended to January 15 in hope of reaching as many seniors as possible. This new deadline pushes Yearbook right up to the plant deadline, so please submit as soon as possible to include your student!
Use the HJ eShare app so the file goes into our portrait section of the library. Please check the dpi before submitting, as a dpi of 300 is standard; a dpi lower than that might look fine on your phone or computer screen, but it could look pixelated when in print. If you do not know how to adjust the dpi of your image, you might find this site helpful: Convert dpi
- Upload the portrait via HJ eShare App, Sheldon’s school code: Sheldon
- Here is a 5-minute Video Demonstration
- Information regarding senior photos can be found in the Yearbook section on our school website or here: Senior Packet Information.
Senior Quotes – We need every senior to fill out this Survey (so far, 92 seniors have completed the survey). You must be logged into your school 4J email to access the survey for Senior Quotes. (Ten students submitted their survey without including their name, and so if you think that might have been you, you’ll want to resubmit.)
